  1. Hi Colleen,
My name is Evelyn, and I am from Canada.

I love your blog! It is so pretty and fun. The picture of flowers looks really cool.

This is a great post. Is the dog at the bottom yours? He is very cute. I have a dog named Barley. We were trying to train him to sit like that, but he always just jumped in the air, so eventually we gave up and moved on to another trick.

I’m glad you mentioned constructive criticism as one of your guidelines. I think it is a very important aspect of a comment, but I often don’t leave it because I’m worried that people will take it personally and be offended! My criticism for you is to elaborate a bit more on each of your guidelines. That way, people will have a very thorough understanding of what you are trying to say.

  2. Hi Colleen,
Your lovely background image for your blog is so refreshing and hopeful. Sometimes I forget it is the springtime of the year being inside so much these days, but you have shared a lovely reminder.

I looked back at some of your other postings, and I was intrigued by your analysis of “The Tell-Tale Heart”. I used to love to read Poe when I was a teenager, although I have not gone back to him in many years. I remember reading, “The Fall of the House of Usher”, “The Cask of Amontillado” and “The Masque of the Red Death”. I also memorized “Annabelle Lee” although I only remember the first two verses now.

Being home now should give us all time to read much more, but as a technology integration specialist at my school I feel the days slip by with answering so many email, texts, and phone calls that I have only gotten to read one book so far. I hope learning from home is going well for you and your school. It is certainly an adjustment for all of us. I would be interested to hear more about how your school program is going.

Thanks for sharing, and stay well!
    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Ruffing
